“The Harmonic Egg is a healing chamber in the shape of a large dodecahedron egg. This innovative technology offers healing through light, frequency, vibration and sound in a sacred geometric shape. The client relaxes back in a zero gravity chair while being surrounded and embraced by soothing light, sound and vibration. My experience in the Harmonic Egg was one of complete peacefulness and a level of deep stillness and relaxation that I had never experienced before.” ~Kirsten Antony, RN
I have been studying sound and light therapy, frequencies, different types of music / artists and instruments for almost 10 years now. I am an engineer from Detroit so it’s not been easy for me to accept what I have seen and experienced since opening Life Center in Denver, Colorado about 8 years ago.
There are all kinds of healing modalities and healers out there. Some work, some don’t and some are temporary fixes. I have tried 50 or more modalities over the years and what works for one may not work for others. It’s a journey to find the combination to your healing.
I created the Harmonic Egg because I have tried so many other modalities without success for the deep healing I was seeking.
Everyone thinks they understand frequencies and they deem 528Hz for healing the DNA and 432Hz as the Universal frequency. Not so…why? Everyone is different and everyone vibrates at different frequencies every second of every day. PLUS, people are listening to 528Hz on their computer or MP3 player and I don’t believe you are actually getting 528Hz from compressed files or tiny speakers. I believe MP3 files are cold and clinical for healing. We use CD quality music with amazing speakers AND the key is we use a geometry of an egg in a resonant chamber. You are immersed in the environment for your whole body and soul. You do not need to have specific frequency for this type of healing. It’s the geometry / shape and resonance that is healing not the named frequencies.
Many of our clients are musicians and one mentioned that his instrument only tunes to 440Hz and if he tries to force 432Hz or 441Hz it’s out of tune and does not play well. Think about it. The body is that way too. If you force binaural beats and hemi-sync music you might be doing yourself a disservice. Why not allow the body to come into balance naturally? The CPU of the body is the nervous system, not the brain. That’s my opinion. The brain is connected to the nervous system as is everything else.
Through all my studying and observation people do really well in the Harmonic Egg. I am amazed on a daily basis how people can heal. Recently there were two examples I can give you. One was a young man with lower back pain and the doctors could not help him. He did one session and said his back was “feeling ridiculously good”. Why? My opinion is that the pain was emotional and we discussed releasing the emotions. One of the keys to healing is intention! The second example is a young woman who recently had 2 epidurals during her child’s birth. She set the intention to relieve the pain in the area where the epidurals were given and she told me the next day the pain was gone. Am I amazed? Yes! Am I surprised? NO! The body is an amazing machine and can heal at quantum speed when given the right environment.
In creating the Harmonic Egg and making it a reality, I have taken on a HUGE responsibility. It’s very humbling. It’s also very stressful to be in this field. I feel like a pioneer and my intuition is so strong from the years of doing sound and light therapy. It’s hard to watch a lot of more “credible” people put their opinions out there and yet I know many are not correct, but their egos are in the way of them learning what is true and real. There are things that have been revealed to me through mentors and intuition that I know to be true, but you can’t read about it or study it just yet. You just have to trust. Each and every one of us are different and no one person will heal with the same modalities as another. I believe in the Harmonic Egg everyone is seen differently and can heal within the confines of their capability and speed. For some it’s a journey and for some it’s instant based on their path with the illness, disease, emotion or trauma.
I could write a book, but most people are busy and short articles are easier to digest. If you would like more information or have questions you can visit the website and find TV and Radio Interviews, testimonials, other articles and more! https://lifecenter.us
Why the Harmonic Egg?
It’s been the question of the day since I announced the creation in July, 2017.
I have been studying sound and light therapies and healing for eight years. I have owned and operated my own healing center during this time and observed the effects of several therapies on clients’ health and well-being. I have owned two technologies that were sound and light chambers. I created the Harmonic Egg as a new and innovative, next generation healing chamber based on my observations of clients before and after sessions in the previous two technologies, research on the modality, reading books from experts in the industry, white paper studies and collaboration with the medical community. The Harmonic Egg is a large ellipse (egg shape) where the client reclines inside the “egg” or chamber in a chair. We are getting great feedback thus far and continue to do research.
It was not easy to build this unit. The materials used are natural. It was a challenge to find materials that could bend in the shape of an ellipse to form an egg. Plus, we had to create a chamber that resonated the sound in a holographic-like micro-environment. Instead of hearing the sound from a speaker, you hear it in what I think is its natural broadcast. It’s super fun! Sometimes I hear the sound above my head and I know there are not any speakers above my head. The angles, the ratios and all the other concepts we use in this Harmonic Egg is proprietary information, but it was well thought out and evolved from ancient teaching and texts. The size of the Harmonic Egg will fit in a 10’ x10’ room on a diagonal, but it’s better to have a 12’ x12’ room. It took about almost a year from start to finish to create the first prototype that is now operational at Life Center in Westminster, Colorado.
One of the issues I observed with the previous technologies was sound distortion. In the previous chambers, automotive type round speakers are used beneath a thick foam pad where the client lies flat during sessions. There is cubic air space under the speakers, but I don’t believe it’s the proper cubic air space for the rating of the speakers. I always felt there was a lot of distortion from the music having to come through a foam pad. Our nervous systems tend to take distortion and make up “data” to fill in gaps to process information. My experience and research led me to realize that I wanted to get the purest sound and little to no distortion, hence another reason for the Harmonic Egg.
Let me mention here that lying flat for some clients is not comfortable nor relaxing. Clients have neck and back issues and want pillows and bolsters as props for comfort. In addition, some clients have a hard time rolling up from a flat position to exit the chamber. The Harmonic Egg uses a reclining chair and has been much more comfortable for clients.
There is also the issue of the music that is being played. Over the years, I have studied sound and how different instruments effect / affect the body (physically and emotionally so I am using both spellings of the word). I have worked with sound and lighting experts gathering lots of information to create the Harmonic Egg. When you compress a CD into an MP3 format you lose much of the quality, frequencies, musical information, etc. Compression changes the original intent of how the music was intended to be enjoyed. MP3s are for convenience so you can fit 1,000 songs on your MP3 player. It’s quite complicated, but easy to understand once you hear the difference. Based on my experience, the previous two technologies both use compressed music. The Harmonic Egg uses the higher quality CD resolution giving the body and nervous system a purer listening experience. There is a difference!!!! Then there was the investigation for the right speakers, subwoofer, amplifier and player for the music. Sound systems are not all created equal; the components have to all play nicely together. For example, there are surround amplifiers and integrative amplifiers and subwoofers that have speakers on the side and the bottom versus just the bottom or just the side. Speakers have different elements that make them relevant for different applications. The sound system was the second most important consideration after designing the structure and shape of the Harmonic Egg.
Oh, not to mention the search for the right kind of music to use and the right tones and instruments and frequencies. This is something I have been studying for six years. It’s important to consider: Who is the artist? What is their intention of the music? I learned so much about selecting music…testing and seeing how clients respond to the music and paying attention to the sound quality and frequencies. These are important details that effect / affect the clients’ response in the Harmonic Egg.
Next there is the light therapy. I think in the future we will get more and more sophisticated technologies, but for now we do know that different light frequencies are effective / affective for healing. For example, if you are a woman with a lot of yeast infections this can be due to an imbalance in the body (specifically the sacral chakra), and using orange light and the instrument of the flute can help bring that back into balance. This is the type of training I never received with the two previous technologies, but after studying for the past ten years I can offer this type of training with the Harmonic Egg. Many lighting systems don’t give you the full color spectrum of lights. It took me about eight months of research to choose the lights and the right type of remote to control the lights and light settings.
We can’t forget about the chair for the client while they are in a session. I searched the world over for a chair that reclines at the right angle for the best results in the Harmonic Egg. It also had to meet the criteria for size and comfort for so many shapes and sizes of clients. It was a matter of thinking about how the client would feel and how the technician putting them in for a session would be able to comfortably and easily support the client.
Every thought and idea for the Harmonic Egg was well thought out for both the client and the center owner or technician from the complexity of the technologies used, effectiveness, to the ease of setup and use, cost and comfort.
How long does a client need to stay in the chamber, the protocol? We are using 40 minutes and then the POWERFUL 10 minutes of silence in the chamber to integrate the session. It’s truly an amazing experience! I read a white paper in 2016 that came out of Feiburg, Germany. It described the use of deep relaxing music to help patients heal and they discovered a period of 6.5 minutes of silence helped integrate the healing, so I adopted that discovery and added a few extra minutes because I feel the silence is important and more was needed. If you have read anything about chiropractic care and its beginnings, there are accounts where the doctor was trained to ensure the patient rests at the office for a short time to help the adjustment integrate and set into the body. Integration of all these modalities that people do these days is so very important. I give the analogy of digesting food. You don’t eat a salad and then when you are full go eat a sandwich and then pile another salad on top of that… do you? No! You let the first salad digest and “integrate” with your body before moving on to a sandwich later in the day or the next day. Energy work is the same…you must let one modality digest before you “feed” it more.
The previous chambers had single sessions and sets of sessions depending on the condition of the client. For chronic conditions sets of sessions were recommended. That hits the body more consistently with the energy to help the body heal faster. A client can choose to go slow or accelerate the healing process. A single session takes about four (4) days to integrate before you would be able to schedule another session (there are exceptions to all rules). A set of sessions consists of a client coming every 4 days for approximately four to eight (4-8) sessions. That means a client would do a session and four (4) days later do another and four (4) days later another for four to eight times total. After a set, a client would take a break from any and all other energy work for three to four weeks. We supply you with a protocol for integrating sessions where we suggest dietary changes as well.
Finally, I did think about and tried aromatherapy in the room for the clients. The determination thus far is that it’s a bit of sensory overload for many clients. It might be something to use on a case-by-case basis, but as of now I am not using it. There are so many clients with neurological issues and chemical sensitivities I just don’t think it’s needed nor will it make the sessions more effective.
So, that’s the story of the Harmonic Egg and why I created it! If you have any questions or would like to learn more you can reach me via the website: https://lifecenter.us.
Written by Gail Lynn (3-4 years ago). Just in case some of it sounds old and confusing to where we are currently.
Life Center offers unique relaxation, users say
Chronic stress is more of a problem in today’s world that we think. It’s slowly killing us. We are like the proverbial frog in the pan of water and the water is getting hotter and hotter. We don’t even notice until it’s boiling and…well, you know the end.
In a world of so much stress how do we find peace and quiet? Some meditate, some take a hike in the mountains, and some come to Life Center to bask in a unique blend of light, sound, frequency and vibration to gently come back into balance in an unbalanced world.
Sound and Light therapy has been around for thousands of year. The ancient Egyptians, Greeks, Tibetans and Mayans understood the healing properties of sound, the light spectrum and vibrational harmonics. It’s non-invasive, requires no pills or needles, and is very safe and effective.
The inventor of the light box is credited with developing it in 1997. He worked with scientists and physicians to discover that the device takes the body to a level below the level of consciousness at an awaken state. He monitored client’s brainwaves and saw that the levels were going into a delta / theta state (deep relaxation / deep sleep) where the body knows how to heal itself, de-stress, detox and relax. In reviewing sleep studies he found that most people never reach REM sleep in their natural sleep patterns and therefore are not utilizing the body’s innate ability to heal itself as we are designed to do. The technology “tricks” the body into reaching these levels and activates the body’s innate ability to heal while in the chamber.
The Mayo Clinic put out an article entitled; Relaxation techniques can reduce stress symptoms and help you enjoy a better quality of life, especially if you have an illness. It states, “Relaxation techniques can help you cope with everyday stress and with stress related to various health problems, such as cancer and pain.” They go on to state, “Practicing relaxation techniques can reduce stress symptoms by: Lowering blood pressure, Reducing muscle tension and chronic pain, Improving concentration, Reducing anger and frustration, Boosting confidence to handle problems.” It should not come as a surprise to anyone that living with stress day in and day out is not healthy.
Clients use Life Center for a number of reasons, including to have clarity / focus, to assist with physical therapy and injury recovery, as a tool for stress and inflammation reduction, for chronic pain management, and to help detox the body.
“By the time I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia I had already been in debilitating pain for four years. I had seen every Western Medicine doctor I thought could help me and had been dismissed and ridiculed. After receiving one light box session, (which is four sessions over a three day period.), I felt better than I had in ten years,” says Danelle Denney
Life Center owner Gail Lynn, 44, tried the light box in Cottonwood, AZ and was amazed by the experience, so she decided to open a center in Westminster, CO.
The center includes two chambers and a relaxing, peaceful environment for clients to come and reduce stress the moment they walk in the door.
The staff controls the chamber from inside the room and is able to adjust the sound and light to the client’s needs. The chambers are roomy and have been likened to tanning beds. The doors easily open by pushing on them so no one is ever trapped in and they can exit at any time. Each session is approximately one hour as the chamber melts the body into a delicious state of deep relaxation. The client’s only job is to release and let go!
Life Center’s clientele is a very diverse group of ages and backgrounds, says Gail Lynn, and the center averages anywhere from eight to twelve clients a day.
Clients have come from more than ten U.S. states just to experience the Life Center for the three consecutive days that are deemed as the protocol. “We really have not done any marketing or advertising. It’s mostly word of mouth and my efforts to go out and network to educate people about Life Center and the dangers of chronic stress,” says Gail Lynn.
Ed Parker, Jr., a martial artist from Pasadena, CA, found his mind was able to focus better. He could feel the toxic cloud over him dissipate. He felt less stress and his face seemed to reflect the lack of stress he had been feeling. “I was skeptical as it is a mystery as to the final outcome. However, when you get results, it kind of says it all,” Parker says.
Dr. Terry Grossman met Life Center owner, Gail Lynn, at an integrative medical conference. Gail offered him a professional courtesy session. As a skeptic and physician he agreed under the circumstance that he would not tell her about a problem he wanted to resolve UNLESS he saw an improvement.
“I cannot believe it but I awoke in the morning completely free of back pain for the first time in three months after my first treatment yesterday,” says Dr. Grossman, MD.
Dr. Grossman visited Life Center in February 2012 and today is still pain free.
Robert Amador, a.k.a pro wrestler ‘SuperDestroyer’, says, “Over the last twenty or so years I have been involved in the business of Pro Wrestling. During my time as a wrestler I have injured myself many times. Of course [Life Center] seemed too good to be true but I’m willing to try anything to feel better so long as it is a natural process. What I felt was that I could breathe through my nose with no problems and within the next few days my sleep pattern improved. Sleeping better and breathing through my nose was all I needed to be convinced that it works.”
Everyone knows that if you have your foot on the gas pedal all the time you are going to eventually run into something. Coming to Life Center might assist in finding the brake pedal when one really needs it.
